Conny holds a Ph.D. in Statistics from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität in Munich, Germany. She joined Roche's Biostatistics department in Nutley, NJ in 1999, working across Early- and Late-Development in Cardiovascular, Neuroscience and Metabolism. In 2004, she transferred to Basel to work in Late-Development Oncology, took on her first managerial role the following year, and moved to Genentech in 2011. Her most recent position was VP, Data Science and Analytics, and Global Head of Data and Statistical Sciences for Hematology and Oncology. Conny retired from Roche and Genentech at the end of 2025 and now occasionally consults in the biopharma space.
